How to Feed Digestive K9?
Digestive K9 comes in a powder (with dog-approved deliciousness) that is added daily and mixed through your dog’s food. It’s been created using naturally-sourced ingredients, and evidence-based research to help all stages of your dog’s digestion.
Digestive K9 is super easy-to-use but with any changes in a dog's diet, we recommend to add it in gradually.
New supplements and food should always be introduced slowly into your dog’s diet, as adding these new elements too quickly may cause digestive upsets. We recommend starting your dog on a small pinch of the Digestive K9 powder sprinkled over and mixed into their food, continue to increase this over time until your reach the recommended dosage rate for your dog’s size.
This is what gradual introduction looks like over a two week (14 day) period
Days 1 - 3: start with a small pinch, increase to 1/4 of the recommended daily dosage
Days 4 - 7: increase to 1/2 of the recommended daily dosage
Days 8 - 11: increase to 3/4 of the recommended daily dosage
Days 12 - 14: increase to the full recommended daily dosage
TIP: If you notice that your dog doesn’t seem to be enjoying their dinner as much when you're introducing the Digestive K9 powder, decrease the amount and increase the introduction period from 2 weeks to 4 weeks until you see a positive change. Most dogs will absolutely love Digestive K9, but it's a new taste and texture for them to get used to and sometimes their tummies need a little extra time to adjust!
What do I feed with Digestive K9?
The best dog diet is a raw, whole food diet that contains human food-grade fresh ingredients, and one that is low in carbohydrates and high in quality protein. Even if you're not raw feeding your dog yet, that's okay too! You can start adding Digestive K9 to your dog’s with their usual diet straight away.
